Our Director

Mrs. Alecia

Mrs. Alecia Campbell-Smith (known to our students has Mrs. Alecia) resides in Summerville, SC, with her Husband (Dane) of eleven years. To this union, they have four children; three daughters (Ny'Asia-20, Kennedi-13, Kamryn-9) & one son (Kendel-8). She & her family enjoy traveling, making memories, and spending quality time together. They are currently creating a small campground in her husband's hometown of Dorchester, SC. As the family loves the outdoors, they wanted to bring some of their ideas to real life. They are looking to have this project completed in 2023.

Mrs. Alecia has been in Education for over twelve years. She started her career as a Teacher Assistant for a Pre-school Development Class for children with special needs in her local school district. During the Summer months she volunteers for a Summer Enrichment Program and has been with them for over 12years. She is not afraid of taking charge when any type of situation arises.

Mrs. Alecia graduated from The University of Arizona Global Campus, where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Business Administration. Her goal has always been to become the director of a learning center in her community one day. Growing up in a rural area, Mrs. Alecia saw the need for more educational programs. She wants to bridge the gap between education and parent involvement within the community.

She believes the five most critical characteristics of a good leader are trustworthiness, communication, empathy, transparency, and integrity. Mrs. Alecia feels having these characteristics shows she will be a successful leader. Still, she believes she will be able to instill confidence, add opportunities, and add growth among young children and the community.
